So beings that Slant 6s rarely get appreciated enough to build. How about a thread for guys to just show off their cool Slant builds?

This will be going in my 47 Dodge sedan.. i now have ram tubes for the Webers or can swap to 3 air cleaners.

EDIT: not that it matters, it’s been overbored 30 thou, block decked 90 thou, head cut 10 thou with 1.70/1.40 engnblder stainless valves with mild headwork and will be running a double roller timing set. Crank is still std/Std. Headers are designed for a truck using a low mount starter in the LA transmission and feature 2 into 1 design

First off, this is not mine. No info on the build. It showed up in a local Cracklist ad about 6 months ago, but I had to save the pic because it's so, well, cool...!

Here’s the Dutra dual, 2bbl / in the ‘67 Dart I fixed up in the late 90s. I think it lives in Texas now.

Dual 1945's on my aluminum block 63 Valiant daily driver (it was a PITA to get the carb linkage set-up correctly.)

These pictures make me seriously think about building mine up. It IS a pretty cool engine.

The Slant 6 is great! They are easier to work on, less expensive, and very reliable.

Here's my completely stock slanty, all original from 1966 that's in the Valiant:

Then there's this one on my buddy's run stand, getting ready for the truck:

Like a low revving F1 car, very cool. I actually saw your car in person must have been about 15 or so years ago. I had a different handle on here, bought some slant six related part from you while visiting vegas. I had a Silver ‘67 Dart GT with a worked head and headers…with a Holley 1920 lol!

Thanks !! I didn't even know someone posted it on You Tube till a few years later.
