Not a super Great Video, but you get the Idea!
That reminds me of something @Johnny Dart would do. His stuff is beautiful.I figure if it don't go, chrome it!
It's nowhere near as fast as some of the combos above, but it is faster than it was stock. 63 Valiant convertible, 65 slant six block (original was cracked) bored .030, 63 head stock except milled .100 and 340 springs, Comp 252 cam, 210 duration at .050, .430 lift, Offy four barrel intake, factory 62 318 poly four barrel carb, electronic ignition, 2.25 inch Accurate exhaust, original Torqueflite with stock converter, 2.94 rear gears. Will cruise all day at 80 mph, quarter mile low 17s at a bit over 80.
Note: have changed battery, ignition box and voltage regulator since these pix were taken.

How can you not love that thAng?Always been a fan of your 69! How’s that hyperpack running? I just bought a hyperpack manifold, now I just need a slant to put it on.
For real, too sweet. The sound is amazing. How can you not love that thAng?
I like it for what it is.Always been a fan of your 69! How’s that hyperpack running? I just bought a hyperpack manifold, now I just need a slant to put it on.
Yes Thanks Romeo! It's nice to see the Volare'. I got to tell everybody the injection manifold came from me !
It was set up from Fastman Fuel Injection that was a Mopar Muscle Magazine slant article.
I'm diggin' the 64.Great job !
Thanks Romeo,Love your work !!
I just bought a hyperpack manifold, now I just need a slant to put it on.
yep for sure.
Oh, you mean this old thing?I am such a helluva nice guy, I will put your hyperpack on one of my slants so it doesn't feel all sad and lonely ratholed in your garage. Just sayin'.
Yeah,It wasn't what I wanted. Had a whole different plan but caved and said ok lets do it.Was that a Steve Strope project?
If you were closer I would give you a Slant and a 904.Have 2 only need 1..Oh, you mean this old thing?
You’re a true gentleman! I need a car to go with the slant anyway. I’d love a 63 Valiant, bare bones. 4 speed, hyperpack 170 with a head and cam built to rev to 7.5k. You know, just a little commuter car.If you were closer I would give you a Slant and a 904.Have 2 only need 1..
I think most with the Slant Sickness would love to have it !!!Hyperpack
hyperpack 170
Not saying that you can't,BUT, I visited Jack Clifford in the 90's at his shop.I was in the mind set same as you. While he was showing me around his warehouse he explained "Build for torque,Not RPM". He went on with explaining why,the head, intake etc was not designed for high RPM and why the long ram was designed for road racing.Pulling hard (Torque) coming out of turns is why the HyperPack Valiants ruled the tracks of the day."The engineers knew what they wanted, they proved it with the long ram 413 300's of the day and applied that to the HyperPack.built to rev to 7.5k.
