Thinking about installing fender wall headers on my 71 Dart small block/4-speed. tell me what you think good, bad, your thought's, etc.

Pics would be great!

My concern's:

Tire clearence
brake line's
4-speed Linkage

On a early a tire clearance is minimal.205/60R15 and still slightly rubbing. Will have to relocate brake lines and should add a heat shield under master cylinder.Clutch linkage ok but if your car sits low may have clearance problems with the collector dragging the ground.Cutting your inner aprons
may also be a draw back.Over all i like them on this car cause they are easy to get on and off when needed and im limited for options.

IMHO, not a fan of full fenderwells on SB cars. There are headers that have a tube or two that go through them and I don't mind those. Plenty of headers will let a SB A body car breathe without taking out the fenderwells.

BB cars are another issue all together.

Go with what you like.

Here some of my hooker 1 7/8 on my 383 after my dyno run. Too bad it burned all the new paint off:angry7:
