Show That Lowered A-body!

Love all the cars in this thread (especially 2darts) this is what I think looks good on an A-Body, stance wise. I have had probably 15 darts and the GTS is the one I have put the most time into getting it to sit "exactly" how I want it with "stock-ish" suspension.
 
Im planning on slamming my Dart at some point, but I'm not sure if I should go with bags or just regular suspension. Are bags NHRA approved? 2darts primered one is about where I want mine
 
The first two pictures below are about 1/2" lower in the front and 1" lower in the rear than I have it now. I doesn't look as low as it is, because my tires are only 24.5" in diameter. So the distance between the top of my tires and fenders give it an appearance than it's not as low as it is.

3rd picture is after I raised it, the bottom of my K-member is 4.75" off the ground. I had to raise it for my TTI hearders. I have to very carefull over those stupid overly tall speed bumps people put in parking lots.

Edit. I run big 1.14" torsion bars. They resist bottoming out a lot more than stock T-bars. No LCA bumpstops. Hotchkis rear springs with stock front hanger to raise rear 1" because of my odd very small diameter tires.

Heres mine in mock up. It needs to be about 2 inches lower than in the pictures.

Here is my 67 a few years ago. Since then upgrades are a bunch of hotchkis suspension parts, sub frame connectors, drop spindles, disc brakes.

Does you car have rear window louvers? If so, I've never seen that on a notchback. More picture of that car please!

You've got a clean looking Cuda there that stands out from the crowd.
 
Good thread. Better if folks give their suspension details.
 
Thanks alot, I am a fan of your car too! No I dont have window louvers, it may just be a shadow on the brick. The car is apart as of the moment, but I will post more pics soon.

Suspension is completely custom using Gen 3 Viper knuckles all around, Joe's racing uppers fr. & rr., home built LCA up front and Viper LCA in the rear. RideTech Viper spec air suspension with with upgraded rear bags and SelectSeries shocks (electronically adjustable).

Love that diaper! Phenomenal.
 
Heres my '72 Valiant. In the front its lowered 3 inches with torsion bar adjustment, the rear is lowered with 2 inch lowering blocks and the saggy factory rear leafs. And of course the car recieved a front end alignment right after this. Ride is still pretty good, body roll is drasticly reduced, and it looks killer. :cool:
