Show That Lowered A-body!

First of all Wracks71...GREAT paint job!
secondly Tincup REALLY cool car!
Third Mopardaddy...Thanks for the kudos, the entire build is in members restorations under Birth of the Blue Missile.

Here is a rendering done from a digital image by the paint artist. He still has to include the original striping from the Missile but he got the flame job correct. Its starting to come together.

Thanks Z. Front end is borgeson steering box, 1.04s, bilsteins, SPC upper arms, Delrin control arm bushings, rms strut rods, 13" front brakes (soon to be 14s).

My 71 dart, Want it lower but can't go any further at this point without something rubbing. Bottom of my TTI headers already have the Ceramic scraped off.

The "Black Car" as we call her - is my wife's 64 that I built for her back in 1996. Originally 273/pushbutton, now running fully built 340, custom converter and full prepped original 904 (pushbutton still). Swapped in an a-body 8 3/4 rear at time we did the motor. Also built custom headers (tri-y style) and modified the trans x-member for exhaust (ground) clearance. The front is just re-adjusted t-bars, rear I flipped over the original front spring hangers (modified the mounting holes on the frame). Running 15x4 front, 15x7 rear Centerlines with the original SBP (5x4) - yes, the front has KH disc (front brakes and rear end out of 70 Dart) and 185/65/15 f, 245/60/15 r tires.:burnout:

Lol that's awesome! I love it

That is a 65. Maybe a 64 with 65 front clip....

Actually ALL 64 (really 64 1/2) Barracudas are based on 65 body /trim. Only differences are the dash is 64 and they all had small (6 cyl) radiators in 64 v8 cars. The earliest cars (first 800+/-) had a Valiant emblem on the tail panel. Thanks!!!

Have been looking thru files, and found another pic of the Black Car while at Spring Fling in Van Nuys few years back. Yep, the car next to us (right side of pic) is Mike Ritz 66 Team Starfish. Known Mike for , well, "awhile".
