Thanks Ma, looking in almost everyday. This thread is my absolute favorite. Still tinker with the carb on my fish, bought a O2 sensor to dial it in. Keep on posting them
fish pics. :burnout:
Nice notch MrJLR

Had to wait for the horses. Went for a visit at a campground to see father in-law.
Drove the fish.

Wow! No false advertising in your FABO name, One Bad Fish! Your car is beautiful and bad *** all at once. You running it on the track? If so what kind of times?

Thanks for posting the pic. Hope you have more pics coming...

That's Kool yeh what's the story

Did some digging and found more pics a a little bit of info. Originally it was called "Proud Rebel" and was a private effort in the late '60s. At some point in the '70s it changed hands and was renamed Mister X and was raced until sometime in the '80s. Evidently a Mopar guy in Kentucky has it now, hopefully it's being brought back.

THis 67 Barracuda was built into a Drag Car in 1969, It was raced at Union Grove and several other tracks under the original name PROUD REBEL, then it was Changed to MISTER X sometime in the mid 70s, the car has a 4 inch dropped straight axle that has been there since 69, a removable front end, removable fiberglass trans runnel, a DANA 60 rearend, the car is pretty solid, but does need TLC, the drivers front floorpan is rusted out otherwise there isnt much rust, this would make a cool Nostalgia Race Car or 70s style Street Machine.. I have a re ring and bearing, forged crank 400, with a 550 engle cam, fresh heads and tunnel ram with 2 650 holleys, and a TCI 727 with manual valvebody that go with the car.... please call 270 945 2981 or email [email protected]

The car is located in Kentucky..... $8000.00

Found this in my April 2005 folder. Cedar Park, TX.
