Morning Steve, that white notch (#3853) is sharp looking!!
Also wonder if the 69 "S"(#3855) is a true "S"?? Looks like it, PLUS chk out the 340-s emblems on the fender....some say 340-s emblems were NOT used on "S" cars, which doesnt make sense to me...either way thanks for this thread bud!!

Got to see a local car I have been searching for more than 2 years today. 1969 340-S B7/X9. 2 years of MOPAR only shows and no presence. Open show today and go figure!!

Wanted to see a B7 car prior to mine being painted but to late for that!!!

Fender tag shows no sport stripe but V7X accent stripe and it wears the 340-S badges.

Seems to lead me to belive if it had sport stripes then no special badging. If had accent stripes or stripe delete then it got the badging. I still have seen some NON-S 340 cars have the 340-S emblem.

Very nice catch BVT69Dart! Thanks for sharing the photos. What exactly do you intend to do to bring it back to fresh? Looks pretty fresh now - LOL!

Thanks Ma Snart, it had been in storage for 25 years before the previous owner resurrected it. The car needs minor interior and paint work along with some mechanical work. All in all, it's a very solid original car. I'm very happy I found it!

Thanks MTmopars, I've had many abodies but only one other 4-speed. A '69 Swinger 340 that I had in high school. Driving it brings back a lot of great memories.

My 67 notch...the coffee shop in the background was named 'Barracuda Coffee Co.' as the prior owner of the shop had two cars, a 2nd gen and an E-body. Unfortunately, he's sold them both.
