Health problems set me back some plus I’m a bracket racer at heart so that came first. Fingers crossed because I never played with nos before

Love those wheels. Can we get some more pics of those and some info on them?

This one a 1974 Duster will be getting a 512 Indy headed (440-1 heads) with a very nice roller cam and right now I’m leaning towards going with a alcohol toilet set up I have laying here. It should run somewhere in the 8’s after I finish some porting work on the heads an a 2.225 valve upgrade. I almost sold this one but I have to hit the track with it before I make up my mind

Are you referring to a belt that goes over the hump? If you are? I'm sorry, I do not make one like that. The belt types are one reason that lead me to design and build what I have made. Give me a call, I am usually here to answer the phone 9am to 12 noon. Or come out to Dragway 42 this Friday. I will be there for test and tune. Weather permitting of course.[/QUO

72 Swinger, mild 400 / 727 / 8.75 w/3:23 SG / KH Disc brakes. Born as a /6 car. I bought this car for the oldest son but he showed no interest in working on it. It sat in my shop for a couple years when my Dad, at 69 years old, decided he wanted another old car....and the journey began. 18 months later....he drove it back to Tenn. on Fathers day this year. He put regular tags on it and drives it everywhere........Mom says "He's Eat Up with that car" I guess the old saying is true..."Once a Man - Twice a Child" - I think it's Great!

So, what are u guys getting for gas mileage on these 440 to 500" A body street cars? I haven`t checked mine yet, but guessing 6 m.p.g.. Still tuning tho.

My 500 with 3.55 gears has been averaging 13 mpg Canadian, which is probably about 10.5 US. Got a wideband and working on carb tuning to try and improve it a bit.

We use the imperial gallon which is basically equal to 1.2 US gallons, or 20% larger. Actually we buy gas in litres here now, but I still have to convert to gallons to make any sense out of the mileage numbers.

Here`s my 68 Formula-S Barracuda that started life as a genuine H-code 383 4spd. car. When I bought it I found that someone had already replaced the original engine with a 67 383. I rebuilt it to stock first ,then a 383 stroker at 439c.i., now a 440-6 stroker with 496 c.i. and I replaced the 4 spd. with a Tremec 5spd.. I run it on the street exclusively, it`s a fun car to drive.
