It is a #s matching car. Motor spins free. Been of the road for 10 years.
The car was originally bought by a pastor and then to his brother and to the current owner who is the 3rd owner. I am the 4th as of today Wednesday, November 28.
It is all complete with every part there except carb and air cleaner which was stolen. The front suspension had all the bushings replaced 3 yrs ago with poly bushings.
It has been 4 colors its factory color, then blue, then red, and what it currently is Plum Crazy.

Not a Mopar....but still cool IMHO :)

'43 International Harvester I-9 Industrial. Former Navy aircraft tug. It's on jack stands, the flat spots are from it sitting as yard art for 20 years.

Use it! All the roads around my house are dirt, my '47 Farmall H isn't heavy enough to move the grader/sled when it's got a load of dirt against it. The I-9 is about a thousand pounds heavier.

Finding parts for the I-9/W-9 series C335 engines is a chore though. But that's all part of the fun, right? :)

Shoot,...all I got this week was a Snap On Strap Wrench for oil filters on firetrucks,...ain't even got it dirty yet...

Well, with no progress made on the Fridginator again this year.. last week was a good one to spend Black Friday in the junkyard supporting the economy!
Found a 69 New Yorker and bagged the 489 case pumpkin.. No sure grip and 2.76 gears, and no yoke.. but beat spending swap meet vulture prices just to get a usable core to build a good gearset from. Cost= $45.. vultures/drug users want anywhere from $150 to way on up for the same thing around here. As if!

Then for my 97 3500 dually, (pictured below) found a used set of electrical/heated sport type mirrors to replace the horrible farm truck post style it came with.. another fog light wiring harness ($8, as opposed to $90 the dealer wants) and the real goodie, a pair of the oem sport type headlight assemblies to upgrade my lighting.. $56.
Dodge wants $200 PER SIDE new for these and Daniel Stern advised me the import replacements are junk.. I figure that although they aren't perfect I can spend the savings on some polishing compound and a good buffer disc!

Also got numerous switches for the power windows/door locks that haven't worked properly since I bought it.. for what a pocketfull cost at least some of them ought to be good!

And last but not least four Chevy rallye wheels, 6 lug to replace the crusty boring steel rims on my car trailer. If I'd been 20 minutes faster I could have had 4 with new tires caps and trim rings, but in the 20 minutes i spent looking around somebody beat me to them. They worked fast, believe me!

Might not be as cool as some of the new car projects listed but a victory is a victory!

Alan

And a 1/6th barrel of local IPA to keep me "focused" on the project.

My most recent purchase was a couple of brats and a fountain drink at the local Thornton's gas station this afternoon. I don't have any pictures of them from before I chowed down, and I'm pretty sure you won't want any pictures of when I see them again. Suffice it to say that they were delicious!

lol duster blew a freeze plug today so had to pick this up she will get a whole new motor in a few weeks but this will keep her on the road

I doubt anyone wants to hear what I bought for lunch so here's my Mopar purchase. I've actually bought a set of rear window louvers and a set of sill plates since I bought the car, but I don't have a pic of those.
