I am watching Day 1 of the live feeds again from Bradenton since I missed the first half. Looks like Trunkett's Duster ran 8.10 on that day. I wonder if he he was trying for a certain ET range?

dont think so. He is trying to go as fast as he can.
I suspect the car has a good bit more in it than the 7.86 lap. It’s still a work in progress
