.................Surfing through the channels for something to eat lunch by, I happened across the PBS series "A Craftsman's legacy." Some guy was building copper stills

The host of the show always gets his hands dirty, and here they are brazing the tub with a cutting head. I thought "OK maybe they don't have enough torches in the shop" but then here's BOTH of them doing this. Thing is, might work fine, but seems clumsy, as you have to get "down into" some places plus it's just bigger'n heavier.

They were using (copper kettle) what we called "silfos" in the HVAC trade to braze refrigeration/ AC tubes. This is really cool stuff for copper to copper as you need no flux....just nice clean copper
