Trying to simplify the vacuum requirements on my Duster. I have noted a bunch of CA equipment and other bits that I believe I could remove and still operate fine.

Wanting to know if anyone else has done the same.

Specifically, if I plan to ditch EGR and the charcoal canister, do I still need the Amplifier? I want to run more direct lines to only the essential gear.

Also, I want to dump things like the CCIE Switch, CCEGR Switch, OSAC NoX Valve, vacuum reservoir and air cleaner temp sensor.

I am operating out of Arizona.

Any input is appreciated.

My advice is this: Keep the charcoal canister and egr valve. These do two things, they help you save fuel, and help you car run cleaner. They do these things without costing you anything in the performance department.

Dumping the Air cleaner temp sensor will hurt mileage if I remember correctly it keeps the air temp around 100 degrees and helps with economy
