Does anyone know the exact spacing bore-to-bore on a slant six?

Thank you. I was measuring across a steel head gasket from bore to bore, and by the time I got to the last cylinder, the bore spacing averaged out at about 4.010". I thought that might be wrong. That's why I asked.

3.98 inches

Bore center spacing is 4.00" between 2-3 and 4-5.

I think that's right.

Sounds about right since it has 4 main bearings.
