slant 6 rear main seal retainer?

Hi, I'm fixing to take my engine to the machine shop, I noticed the rear main seal retainer is missing a piece. Ebay doesn't seem to have any. Would this still work or should I keep looking for a replacement?

I think it would probably be ok. But if it were me I would keep looking for one while the machining work is being done, but if I couldn't find one, I would use it. Post a wanted ad on this site.

Sadly, I dont see one in my stash. I agree with RRR and Charrlie. That doesnt look like a deal killer. I'd give it a good slobber of The Right Stuff and run it.
