Slant 6 Rebuild prep. Questions?

Hey guys, my first post on this forum. I'm firstly a Pontiac guy, but this past summer my girlfriend got a SWEET lil 64 Valiant, reupholstered, excellent body...but 226xxx on the odometer. Now it runs fine, I just rebuilt the little single barrel Carter and adjusted it, but I have a college class coming up where we can build a live engine, and I thought it'd be a great project to do her slant 6.

My main thought I guess is the cam. I want to keep it as close to stock as possible. Anyone have any part numbers to reference? Maybe any other tweaks that are good for these motors, I want to keep fuel efficiency with the one barrel.

I know I'm going to have hardened valve seats installed.

I've always run with the stock cam, they run just fine.

The later cam is better for performance. 1968 and newer.
