Slant 6 to 318 conversion...

Hi guys

I envisage the possibility to swap my slant-6 to a 318, but want to keep my A-230 3-speed gearbox.
A non-irreversible swap as I would use a Schumacher (or Trans-dapt) L6/318 conversion kit on my original K-member.

Is my slant-6 clutch compatible with the V8? And what's the bellhousing part number?

Slant 6 clutch is different than the v-8 clutch
Bell housing I need to check on the PN.
Unless someone else chimes in.
Other than wiring harness - this is not non- reversible. Just some work, that’s all.
But you know what they say- go V8 and never look back.

What year Demon? I would make the switch to the 10.5 clutch and bellhousing with the V-8.

You may be able to find a 67 or 68 273 or 318 bellhousing for the 9.5 clutch and your A-230 that would work.

The 2892482 or 3515734 bell housings should work for you. Get matching flywheel and clutch for it.
