Hey everybody! I was just wondering how hard it is to fit a chevy T5 to a slant 6? I have an '89 s15 with a 2.8 and I was just thinkin that if the motor ever goes out it'd be really cool to drop a Slant 6 in it!:burnout:

You may want to make sure the engine bay is long enough for a slant. A SBC is a tight fit length wise, and a 427 pokes through the radiator support.

I just looked it up. A sbc is 29.45" from bell housing face to front of water pump and the slant is 27.7 from BH face to front of block. If a sbc will fit a slant'll fit!

Also, could the wiring and tbi made to work with the slant? It's got a 125hp/150 TQ 2.8

It's been done. There was a guy somewhere that drilled injector ports in the intake and used the injectors, harness, computer, and I believe a Holley blue fuel pump.
