slant 6 to V8 power steering

I have a '68 valiant, which was an original slant 6 car, and I put a 360 small block in it using the conversion mounts from schumacher. My question is:

I have the slant 6 power steering pump with the slant 6 brackets. Do I need to replace just the brackets or do I need a whole new pump assembly?

the pump has a different offset for the pulleys on a /6 the housing is a bit different, you should get a v8 pump

Thanks for the info. I'm gonna post a parts wanted add for a V8 pump and bracket.

Pumps are the same, pulleys and brackets are different. Pulley can be swapped but takes a special puller.

Crazy Dave, what is that hairy creature in the left side of that picture? Is that the same bracket that would be on a 65 273 with a cast iron water pump? If so, do you have any more pictures that show how it is mounted?
