Modeled after the 78 and up style of distributor clamp, (the Claw), but designed to work on ALL slant six engines from 1960 and up.
This mount is designed to work without the cast in step of the later blocks.
The benefit of converting to the claw style hold down is that you can install your distributor without the worry of being inside the narrow timing window of the earlier straps. You just need to be in the ballpark as the mount allows for nearly 180 degrees of distributor rotation. And, you do not have to spend time searching for hard to find, out of production parts.
