slant six..no electrical power

okay i have a 71 dart with a slant six. bought a new battery and new starter relay, i jumped the battery to the starter and the engine turns fine. but with a new battery and starter relay i still have absolutely no power anywhere with the battery hooked up.. i have to be missing something somewhere does anyone know what i should check next? thank you -travis

duh forgot the gauge cluster. it runs of course but the brand new carb is leaking gas.. nice

No power anywhere ?
No headlights,brake lights,cluster,radio,ect ?
Or the car wont turn over with the key ?

Check the bulk head connections.

Also check the inline fusable link feeding the bulkhead connector!

You may also want to check the back of the ammeter for tight connections after you have checked the bulkhead connector and the fusible link.

like cudajim stated check the buckead connector i had the same problem with my car lots of times there get corroded i had that same problem with my car a while back

i didnt have the ammeter hooked up..stupid me. but thank you guys now i have another question ill post in a new thread
