slant six to 318 flywheel interchange

I have a slant six in front of an np 435 4 speed in my 83 dodge 4x4 truck. Want to put in a 318 I have a small block bellhousing for the trans already. Will the slant flywheel work on a 78 318? I would like to know before I remove it so I have everything I need ordered. Thanks

Nope the /6 FW will not fir your 318; different bolt pattern.

FW for a 318 shouldn't be all that hard to locate..........BTW is the bell housing you have a car or truck?

Ok, was not sure if the bolt pattern was the same. I have a truck bell I picked up at Mopars in the park last year, I checked the #'s so that is good. Summit has a flywheel for 100 bucks so I will just order it.
