I'm beginning to think that here are no more 1971 slant six engines in the U.S. anymore (there are thousands of every other year out there), they've been impossible to find. But I'm going to give it one more shot. I'm looking for 1971 225 that is correct (not modified in any way) and complete (alt, power steering pump, etc.), and located in the northeast U.S.. It can either run or ran years ago when it was pulled. It must be a 1971 and no other year. Thanks.

it even came from a 71 demon 3 spd in floor still have the tranny bolted 2 it.

If you need it and want it bad enough,,,,that’s not too far to go !
A 71 is kind of hard to find that isn’t modified,,,I have some,,,but not anything from 71 .

Sounds like exactly what you are looking for.
Besides,,,it can be shipped up there easy enough,,,,to find a good example,,,you will probably need to get it from down South .
I’m sure most of it up there has been scrapped already.

at 1 time ihad 4 in my bld but when scrap went up to 14$ a hundred i scrapped them that was many years ago.
 
There are slant sixes for free or very cheap in my area, but none of them are '71. A zillion slant 6 Mopars were made in '71, but ya, they all must have been junked by now. But I ain't gonna lie, AL is a long way from NY. .
