In 2014 I was diagnosed with Obstructive Sleep Apnea. It is exactly what it sounds like..sorta...your airway becomes obstructed by any number of things.
I no longer have Obstructive Sleep Apnea...I now have Central Sleep Apnea. This is when your brain does not tell your lungs to breathe....most likely cause is the effing Opioids I have been on for so long. See them in 2 weeks to talk about getting BiPap machine....this is the one that helps you inhale and exhale...
Found out something else disturbing....doc did say that there are some reports that indicate long term Opioid use can increase the likeliness of Dementia...guess on the bright side...I may be able to get elected as President....

My wife also suffers from it [ Sleep Apnea that is, not a Chinese puppet for President ].
A friend told her about an American product called ASEA. It is some type of 'water' that comes in a blue bottle. It has helped her.

i have both types and severe .... my sleep machine changed my life for the better . i don't even nap without it . best 2500 bucks i ever spent . i was having 47 interruptions an hour and most for over a minute .

To all of yous with sleep apnea...do you still have yer tonsils?

Quick story, diagnosed with sleep apnea a few years ago and got on a cpap machine. Made it worse. It would wake me up from the pressure of it 14mb or whatever. So I went to sleep specialist and he looked me over. Looked into my mouth and his eyes got as big as saucers. I thought to myself oh ****, what did he find?? Turns out my tonsils were YUGE. Not a little bit big, but FARGIN YUGE! So I went to an ENT and she agreed and I got them taken out.

This coming tuesday I am doing the sleep study again and according to the ENT, I may not even have the apnea anymore. Though my girlfriend would disagree lol
