Not engine, they started on 71 360's with 1.88 intakes, 340's and 340 T/A with 2.02 intakes. Then in 72 360 and 340 with 1.88 intakes. I think they were gone in 73.
depending on your build you might be better with 1.94 chevy valves
2.02 like some ,ore bowl work
in either case go 11/32 or 5/16 valves if you plan any revs qctually cheaper
Mopar Wizard that's what I was looking for! I have had the heads since about 1985, and I know they came off a Cuda that was parted out. It's been so long, but I want to say it might have been a T/A 340. What numbers would I see there? Anybody know?
If you are running them with std rockers, they’re not TA heads.
Simple as that.
Just look at the area where the intake pushrods go in the pic I posted. That’s a TA Head.
That’s what makes a TA head.......a TA head.
If it’s not like that, it’s not a TA Head.
You can wish and hope all you want, but if they’re not like this:
Are there any factory 2.02 heads, I mean the only way they came was 2.02? I think they were all 1.88's and some were ground to 2.02. Seems all "2.02" heads could be found with 1.88's at some point in their lives...? Hard to add bowl metal in the casting, easy to grind it (bigger).
