Have a friend who has this manifold. It is not for the thermoquad but the secondary bores are slightly larger than the primaries. I'm thinking maybe a police piece? would have have to been before they started using the thermo. Itr is a dual plane and looks somewhat like the LD340.

Its probably a '70 340 intake. Casting number 3462848.
 
Thanks Mark. Just talked to my buddy on the phone and he had failed to give me that last digit. it is the # you quoted. Isn't that just basically a copy of the LD340?

More like you could say the Ld 340 is a slightly improved version of the 68-70 340 intake.
