small block QuickTime bell with TTI Z Bar
Any body have adjustment issues?
Any body have adjustment issues?
I have this setup. I am using QuickTime can, TTI torque shaft, factory fork, and new replacement clutch linkage. I still have plenty of adjustment left and pedal returns fine. I'll get pics when I return home on Monday if you need.Hope I can say this correctly
I am at the end of the adjustment and throw out bearing is just about hitting and when I press the pedal down, my pedal is not coming all the way up without helping it. I have the spring on the clutch fork. running the factory heavy duty clutch pedal.
I'm not home now to look at mine, I do know I used stock replacement spring though. One more thing, the more I adjust it the better the pedal come back up.
We had no issue setting mine up, needed very little adjustment.I'm not home now to look at mine, I do know I used stock replacement spring though.

Exactly! Had to shim mine almost 3/8 inch to get it right. QT actually sent a couple fork brackets with the shield, but neither was perfect. It looks like your clutch fork is set to close to the bell. You need to shim the clutch fork swivel bracket a way from the bellhousing to move the clutch fork forward, a common problem with Quick Time bells.
Well already sent my pressure plate back to Mcleod. see what happens. If no problems this is what I will have to do. thanksIt looks like your clutch fork is set to close to the bell.
