Smart phone data transfer

I need to transfer the contacts, pictures and files from a Windows phone (nokia Lumina 925a) to a Samsung Note 4 Android.
I have tried to plug in the Nokia to my laptop but the computer does not locate the Windows phone even though I have the Window Phone app on the laptop.
Anyone have a hint?

Try your service provider? Do you have AT&T? If Windows Mobile 8.1, it is supposed to be saved to MSN Hotmail. Hmm, just noticed you will be changing OS from Windows to Android. Best advice is try your service provider.... Sorry, hope it helps.
