It was love at first sight. Original U Code, 440 4bbl, 4 speed. Factory rubber bumpers. The shaker and six pack were added to the car in 1978. It wasnt perfect but it was real nice and he says he drives it often.

Very nice. In my opinion, more people should drive these cars.

Yeah they are stupid money now. I had a Panther Pink 70 Cuda back in 2004. Sold it the day my son was born. Kick myself every day. I got $10,000 for it.

AdamR, $10k, that really stinks. That black 70 is one sweet Cuda. I can see why it was love at first sight.

My buddy sold his 70 Challenger R/T in plum crazy with 340/4 spd which was as near perfect as they get for $8k in about 2001. I'm sure that doesn't make you feel any better though.

By far one of my favorites as well and the best color combo. The only thing I've never liked about them was the interior. Other than that a boner car for sure.

That's sweet!!! Wish something like that would show up at my work. Even though a 2001 Honda crv showed up today. Now your jealous.

It's black.
I don't like black.
It's hot.
It shows every bit of dirt and flaw.
You couldn't give me a black car.

In 1981 I was looking to buy my first brand new car and my friend was trying to talk my out of it (1982 Plymouth TC3 Mizer). So he told me "let's go look at this car" but he didn't say what the car was. We pull into the guy's driveway and there it is what is now my dream car. 1970 Plymouth AAR Cuda, B5 blue, 4 speed with pistol grip! The car looked new and he wanted $1500.00 for it AND I TURNED IT DOWN ARGHHHHHH. I bought the new Plymouth and STILL kicking myself.

I can do you one better. Before I left for the Army in 2004, I stumbled upon a 1970 Cuda 340/727 B5 blue, in a barn. Body was solid, paint was still decent, guy parked it in the early 80s he said cause reverse went out in the trans. He wanted 500 bucks for it, I didn't do it..... he ended up taking the whole car to the local scrap yard and got 200 bucks for it and watched it crushed.....:eek:ops::sad5:

Good looking car. I don't think any car is worth having if you can't drive it.
