A find listed as just an old intake for $40.00 .

Never molested , Cut, or ported. And never drilled for the China wall pins. Cleaned it up and put on the shelf with the others. These are getting harder to find without mods done. We couldn't pass it up.

It's also called being in the right place at the right time. I've made a few good scores, but I 've traveled a bit because shipping is getting too costly. or seller didn't want to ship.

Nice score Oldman! Last week I scored a rebuilt PST steering box and unused adapter off of Marketplace for $50 DELIVERED. I had to take a picture of the ad because I knew no one would believe me. Sometimes it pays off to get up early!

Sweet score! I found the same thing in a parts lot, squirreled away under a bunch of other stuff. It is now free, as I sold enough of the other things to cover my buy-in.

The early bird gets the worm.
Years back I scored TTI under chassis headers for $300. Also scored Wildwood disc brake set up ready to bolt on for dart including spindles and upper controls arms for $350.

A couple of years ago, someone asked me a question about the Mopar 6-1 slant six headers. I couldn't recall the answer, so "googled" them. A for sale unit popped up at a speed shop, for $125. Called to verify they were available at that price, and got them heading my way.
Another time searching for NOS slant six rocker arms, found a complete "Direct Connection" hydraulic to solid valve train conversion kit. I didn't even know such a thing existed. Got it for about half the going price of a set of rockers.

Great shape too. When i was looking all.the ones I found were ruined where thermostat housing goes.
And the few that were not were sold ASAP.
I still look for one now and then

I can't believe how lucky I have been over the years, as far as bargain parts/cars. Beside finding bargains, A lot of people have have helped me out with deals on parts I needed.
My latest deal is here. I can't believe no one bought it for the asking price. I got a smoking deal on this really nice car. I really didn't have the money to buy another car, but couldn't pass up the deal he offered me.

I have an old 318 2 barrel cast iron intake I wonder if that will be worth something...you know when gas is $15 a gallon...

It's also population (and car parts) density. There simply isn't the quantity around here where "nobody" lives, LOL. Marketpharce has not helped, as the search engine sucks. Plus it blows.

I often wondered why the notch was cut in the divider wall and I thought it was to equalize volume. But its not, After seeing this style carb bolted to one . They were very popular back in the 70's and 80's The newer intake sold by mopar eliminated the notch
