be careful saying that, you might keep that on the low low because you might get a lecture on how irresponsible it is to have drums, what if you needed to panic stop a second within 2 minutes of the first one, that could have been bad.
The key with drum brakes is, have them in top operating condition, don't drive like a maniac and don't use drum brakes on a car with considerable power. Slant 6 cars, stock 273 and 318 cars are about what I call "the limit" for drum brakes and if it's a V8, then they better be 10" drum brakes in good working order. Anything above that is front disc brake territory. That's one old peon's opinion anyway.
