Space saver trunk panel ?

I bought a space saver trunk dress up panel today with the jack cover for my 75 Scamp. I tried to put it in and it didn't seem to fit without some alterations. Will this fit without alterations or not is the question. I'm just concerned with the tail light panel. Thanks, Mike

OK, I figured it out. I had a carpet piece under the mat. Now what do they use to attach it to the pillars or braces?

OK, I figured it out I had a piece of carpet under the mat. Now I need to know what the factory used to attach it to the braces.
