Sparkplug wires don't fit 1970-up smallblock?

Hey guys:

I've been shopping around online for a new set of plug wires for my 318with340topend so I can finally get rid of those awful neon yellow wires on there now.

I found a set I like, but the notes say they don't fit 1970 and later. Huh? Why is that?

That sounds like "poop" to me Tyler. What set are you looking at? I'm sure there must be a stock type 7mm or a decent 8mm set available in black for a reasonable price that will work for you.

Boy do I miss the days speed shops sold plug wire off the roll.
