spears to go with gills, 68 barracuda

I have a very nice set of gills that I would like to install on my barracuda fastback, but have no spears. I have a seen a couple of sets on original cars and the clips have broken or rusted through and the owners have driven phillips head screws through them to keep them falling off. It is not realistic to expect to find a nice pair of spears along with mounting clips to complete my set (not ones I could afford, at least). I was wondering if anyone has identified a comparable piece of trim that is being re-popped for popular vehicles (Mopar, Ford, or GM, or other?) that could be substituted?

Did you check R/T Specialties? I seem to remember them having the clips. I never had a car that needed them but I recall cuda guys talking about it.
