Hi all,

Im planning on purchasing an after market fuel gauge for my '71 dodge dart. What are the ohms specs for my 225/6 engine with the stock sending unit? Thanks.

The engine doesn't matter and I think all Chryslers 60-80's are the same. I have an Auto Meter 2515 dial-type that has been on the shelf for decades (never installed). It says "for most Ford & Chrysler with 73 ohms empty, 8-12 ohms full".

I have had an LED-bar type in my Newport since ~1993 when the dash gage (or Vreg) failed. I know how to fix that now, so next time I have the cluster out I'll toss the knee-bumper gage.
