my tire size is a 205/70/14 and its on a 64 dart 170 with a 225. I'm not sure what the axle ratio is but it should just be the stock axle.

Here is the pics of the new:

Here is a pic I took from the 65 FSM showing the different tire sizes, rear end ratio and what speedo gear is used with each

I’m going to guess that your 205/70 14 is gonna be around the 735 to 775 size and the gear will be dependent on what your actual rear gearing is. Bear in mind that your original tire size was not 14 in but 13 inches.

Thank you for the information, How much would you sell the cable for? I need a new one because mine is broken and leaking. Also do you know if there is a plug that I can buy to just plug the hole on the transmission? There is this GPS speedometer module that i might end up using later on.

I will PM you.

I am not aware on any commercially available plug to plug the hole in the transmission. You might cut your old cable at the stock fitting and seal it. That's what I'll be doing on my 47 Dodge project as I will be using a Speedhut speedometer with a GPS sensor.[/QUOTE]

A 225/70R14 is 25.4 diameter. I just measured an old 7.35X14 I have in the shop at 25.6. That should be close enough for speedometer selection once you know your rear gear.

I have a good used one as well if still needed. PM me.

Jake
