Speedo Cable Routing (72 Duster 340/727)

Hi Folks,


My Duster (72, 340 w/727) was missing the speedo cable when I purchased the car. Finally getting around to installing one, but am wondering where/how the cable should be routed. Any pointers/pics or advice I could use as reference would be appreciated.

Mine's routed out of the firewall just above the master cyl. Down the left side frame rail. There should be a couple clips along the frame rail to keep the cable away from the exhaust. Then it turns toward the tranny to connect.

Hey Thanks a lot 6pk2goDemon! I went out to the garage armed with your reply and found the firewall opening and clips on the frame. I appreciate the spot on info you provided. :thumblef:
