speedometer needle replace

Has anyone ever replaced the needle on their speedometer?

I bent my speedometer needle trying to install the speedometer in the gauge cluster. Apparently it’s very fragile. I don’t know how I’m gonna bend it back. I have a spare, but I’m not sure how to swap it out. Anyone ever done this?

well, I managed to bend it back straight-ish, and then repaint the needle. I didn’t want to make it any worse than I already had so I didn’t try to remove the speedometer needle.
