Does anyone know the ratio of the worm gear on a TF727/A833 output shaft? I want to know how to calculate the rpm of the speedometer cable - how do you do that exactly? Let's assume you have a 32 tooth speedometer pinion gear in your transmission - how many revolutions of the output shafts are needed to make one full revolution of the speedo pinion? Since the output shaft has a worm gear the calculation is not as straight forward.

@Dan Brewer do you know how?

Background to my question is that I want to use an electronic pulse generator for speed signal which puts out 8000 pulses per mile @ 60mph. These generators were designed for GM or Ford and I don't know if the speedo cable rpm is the same for them vs. Chrysler.

Thanks
