Just bought a rebuilt powr-lok. My axles will not slide in all the way b/c the inner and outer splines on the powr-lok are not exactly lined up. They're not off by much but enough to prevent the axles from sliding in the remaining 1/2". Is there an easy way rotate the outer spline and slide the axle in?

Get a long prybar and stick it between the wheel studs for leverage. You'll want lug nuts on them to protect the threads. Just riock the axle back and forth and it'll go right in.

NP. It aint gonna be easy. If it's a REAL power lock, the breakwaway torque is up around 1000 LB FT.
