When we installed the spool this week noticed the passenger adjuster only adjusts passenger Axel play now. When it did both before. I go to the machine shop he said not to worry about it they dint make adjusters for the them anymore. He said do you have another set of axles? We will make both sides without adjusters and your done.

Now the right side adjusts fine but the driver moves in and out way to much for me. First time we put the brakes on, it took the spring kit off the backing plate!

Now this has probably been done before. Why not use the adjuster on the driver side also?

Choices what about those green barrings or is it a waste of money? Don

In most stock type carriers there is trust block in which contacts the drivers side axle and therefore adjusts it also. Sounds like the spool doesn't have that option. Green bearings will definitely solve that issue.

We have ordered some green bearings, had the axles drilled for large bolt. Still thinking should we use the adjusters or not? When the new bearings are installed without adjusters will we have all the movement that has already proved to be to much?

With green bearings you don't need adjusters. That's what you need with a spool cause as Mully said theirs no thrust block for the axle to adjust against.
