All I need is someone to measure from the front of the door to the mirror?

Neil, that's what I just gave you... from the front edge of the door top to each of the screw holes. Just drill the holes there and drop it in. I can get a little closer with the picture if it is not very clear (it was still early morning when I took this one).

'74 Sport: My apologies, it must be all the gas fumes lately. Actually, I've had a flu bug and was puking all night the other night and slept all day and took 5 to check my email, and obviously I couldn't think or read straight. That's my excuse!

So do you mean, measure from here? (I've circled it in orange)

Or should I measure from somewhere else?

Sorry, I didn't get back to this thread until today. No, this measurement is taken from the point farther forward to the front of the door. Follow right along the "sharp" edge of the door top (right where the top rolls over and begins the vertical side of the door skin). It's where you can actually hook the end of your tape measure. If I still don't make sense to you, I can take another pic with a tape measure in place.

Nope, sounds good. I get it now! Thanks a million!

I'm only asking because that part of the door has been repaired the original holes are no present, but soon they will be. We did find original original mounting holes on the passenger door though under some bondo, so that will give us a guide too.
 
Was on e-bay the other night, guy selling G.m. sport mirrors for about $70 a pair . I know... but he had pics of them on his cuda they didnt look too bad.
