Looks like it's 40% chance of showers in the Morning.... I'm leaving NorCal early Saturday and hope to swing by the cruise that evening at Bob's and then the show on Sunday. We are supposed to get between 1"-3" of rain here in the valley that Saturday, hopefully I won't bring any with me!

I don't know what your emphasis is, but Most of the swap action is Saturday. Rain or shine.

This chance of rain is perdicted overnight, spotty, and like 1/4" . We are just on the southern tip of the system.

I'd leave Friday but kids are still in school and the wife and I are working.
We're tying it in with a mini family vacation... Just coming to drool over the Old Iron, get ideas for my own build, and as far as the swap meet goes I'm not really needing anything I can do without right now. Love to find a few items like a dual hood scoop or a console plate, but I can always come across those items on FABO or through other Mopar friends but they're not needed at this time. Hope to meet a few members from FABO as well if I get the chance.

After that we're headed to Universal Studios for my daughters 18th Birthday and maybe a few other tourist traps before heading home later next week.

Woodley park is in great shape.

Only slight chance of light rain before daybreak on Saturday before anyone is in the park. And predictions have been diminishing as we get closer.

Park is looking best in a decade at least.

Just took these pictures at dusk today.

PLEASE pass this along to anyone considering coming to show!

Here's a plot plan of the show that might be helpful

Man, finally made it to Van Nuys left this morning at 9am. Can easily say that that was one of the longest and worst rain storms I've driven through. White knuckled it down I-5 with near zero visibility from Stockton to Coalinga! Relaxing a bit then headed over to Bob's Big Boy for some grub in a while. Can't wait to see some Iron tomorrow!

Glad you made it safe. Enjoy dinner tonight. I'm going to the in-laws for dinner. I guess it's fair since the wife and all the kids went to the show with me. They had a great time too which surprised me.

Ha ha! That's me in the black shirt. The 3rd picture from the top. That cruise was fun. I look forward to next time. It was totally worth ditching work for!

The car show was a good time. I bought some new clutch and brake pedal pads, and a 3/8" front to back fuel line from Mr. Moparts. I was hoping to score a good rebuildable sure-grip, but no luck.

On a side note, after the car show today my son and I decided to take Topanga Canyon back to Malibu only to find that was it was closed off, so we had to turn back and take an alternate, yet definitely more interesting, route.

We took Fernwood Pacific Dr. to Tuna Canyon Rd. all the way to Malibu. We got quite a few thumbs up along the way. That was a pretty fun drive going through the twists and turns. I think people heard me coming up the mountain.

The Duster did pretty good even with sloppy steering. Other than the sloppy steering box, the rest of the suspension has been tightened up, but there's room for improvement. It was a fun drive. I'll have to post pics.
