Host Hotel: Airtel Plaza - 1-800-2-AIRTEL $139/night, $8/car parking, $20/trailer, Code: “Spring Fling Car Show" Hotel Discount Link

Show car trailer parking Friday and Saturday, $30 both nights. Overnight security provided. Leave your trailer and car at the park. Then re-enter with your tow vehicle the next morning with your show placard. Feel free to contact us with any questions: [email protected]

Schedule of Events:

Thursday:
  • Spring Fling Speed Festival at Willow Springs Raceway. Mopars old and new on the track. Contact alltimeracing.com for track racing registration. $10 spectator fee
Friday:
  • Spring Fling Malibu Cruise -9am leaving from Woodley Park. Ending in Malibu lunch at Dukes Restaurant on beach.
  • 2pm Midway setup
  • 2pm Early swap setup
  • All makes famous Bobs Big Boy Burbank Cruise In 3pm-10pm
SATURDAY:
  • 7am Spring Fling show and swap
  • Show Field: No judging, open parking
  • Manufacturers Midway
  • Special Wing Car display
  • Food vendors for breakfast and lunch
  • 4pm Spring Fling All Mopar Cruise In
SUNDAY:
  • 7am Spring Fling show and swap
  • Show Field: Judging provided (not mandatory), class parking
  • Manufacturers Midway
  • Special Wing Car display
  • Food vendors for breakfast and lunch
  • 2pm Trophy Presentation

If I can get my POS dodge transmission 47re Junksauce to shift into overdrive I would for sure go. Don’t feel like driving 65 miles an hour for 6 hours at 3,000 rpm in my ‘01 cummins diesel.

Pop the O/D section off and look for pieces of a broken snap ring...

I’ll check that. I think I need the overdrive unit rebuilt, because once that happens, doesn’t it fry the clutches?

I’ve been driving without overdrive for dang near 6 months, or 20,000 miles. I’m tired of it.

I did do a pressure check, while driving, on the number 5 port, (overdrive clutch test port) and I wasn’t getting high pressure at all, it would not raise with the engine rpm.

This is 10 psi at 65-70 MPH at 2500-3000 engine rpm.

I finished rebuilding and cleaning these last night. Need tires and fix trans gasket so I can take this new hooptie out to the show.

Hey Steve, I've got some RV parking questions for you.
1. RV parking Wed. night at Willow??? I do have some potential options other than the track.
2. RV parking Thurs. night between Willow and Van Nuys??? So that we can make the Friday cruise.
3. RV parking with trailer at the park Friday night???

OR

RV early swap setup without the trailer???

Departing Modesto 8:30-900
Departing Madera 10:00-10:30
Lunch @ Arvin

We're thinking about going to the speed festival at Willow on Thursday, leaving Wednesday afternoon.
