Thursday April 9
Spring Fling Speed Festival Mopar Track Day
  • 8am-5pm: @Willow Springs Rosamond, CA 2.5mi road course
  • 7am Drivers meeting at Track Diner
  • 8am New driver instruction class and ride along instruction. Run groups sorted by experience
  • Lunchtime Drag Races open to spectators cars also
  • $325/car. Discount of $50 for Registration prior to March 31st.

Friday April 10
Spring Fling Malibu Cruise
  • 9:30am-lunch: @ Woodley Park show grounds parking lot
  • 40+ Mopars. FREE ADMISSION open to all Spring Fling attendees.
  • Travel though Santa Monica Mountains, stop at Rock Store, cruise along beach, lunch in Malibu.

Spring Fling Motion Picturecar Warehouse Meet-n-Greet Kick-Off Party
  • 5-9pm: @ 8400 Reseda Blvd, Northridge, CA 91324.
  • Behind the scenes TV and Movie cars get together tour.
  • FREE ADMISSION Open to all Spring Fling attendees.

Saturday April 11
SPRING FLING
  • 7am-4pm: Swap, Manufactures Midway, and Show 'n Shine show car field
  • 10:00 am: Car show and swap entry gate closed. All vehicles remain parked
  • 1:00pm: Exit gate opens
  • Fair-Chance Swap: no pre show swap setup day. No parts being sold between swapper before regular spectators (hobbiest) can enter swap area.
  • FREE SPECTATOR ADMISSION

Spring Fling all Mopar Cruise-In
  • 4-8pm: Bob's Big Boy Mopar Cruise In. 8876 Corbin Ave. Northridge, CA 91324
  • FREE ADMISSION open to all Spring Fling attendees.

Sunday April 12
SPRING FLING
  • 7am-4pm: Swap, Manufactures Midway, and show car field with judging
  • 10:00 am: Car show and swap entry gate closed. All vehicles remain parked
  • 10:30 am: Judging begins. If you don't want judging, please indicate that on show placard.
  • 1:00pm: Exit gate opens
  • 2:30pm: Judged show awards ceremony
  • FREE SPECTATOR ADMISSION

Just missed it yesterday.

A little rain here tonight will be good. It will keep down the dust at the show.

I'm bringing to sell a A-body Rear end converted to large bolt pattern complete just no center section dropout.

Just came out of running So Cal car. Not rusty. Later style desirable finned bell type drums. Parking brake cables Already converted to large bolt pattern by redrilling pattern, so you don't have to buy new axles.

Like in the other thread. I'll be there Saturday. I've got some parts for sale in the for sale section I can bring over if needed. Otherwise, I'll be looking through the swap meet and taking pictures of all the cars in the show.

I'll be there, and I'll try to find autoxcuda's car @ 10 am. I'll be there at looking through the swap meet too. Looking for some 4 speed stuff and maybe upper a-arms.

I too have some stuff in the classified section that I"ll be bringing. Such as the following:

M1 intake, small block bell housing, fuel pump and filter, and maybe rallye wheels too.
 
I lost track of time and didn't get back over there. Looking through swap meet too intensely. Bu met 562bigdaddy and JoeEdge? in the swap meet.

I meet some FABO'ers that got some great deals on parts.

mopardude318 bought a real 340 clutch pedal assy (reinforcement plate & bearing) and Z-bar for $150.

Troy missed out on a A-body Dana rear (shorten B-body with snubber) for $800 and 3.54 sure grip. Seller said price was $1000. He went back later and seller said someone offer him $800 and he took it! That was a deal.
 
What did other FABO'ers manage to buy out there?
 
This is what I got:

I bought:

$70 for:
  • 68-69? B-body gearset with really nice engaging teeth. Only a couple worn points on Input, 1st, 2nd. 3rd for some reason is not as nice with about 6-8 chipped/worn points on teeth, but not even that bad on those.
  • 68-69 new in sack repro B-body shifter boot chrome retainer. Thought it was an A-body, but didn't look at Year One label close enough. Anyone want to trade for a brand new A-body one?
  • New clutch fork boot

Is that an good, bad, or indifferent price for all that?

the worst part of the worst gear I posted below. Everything else is much better.


$5 for two things I just needed around house I didn't have that I figure would work as good as a new one and be a lot cheaper:
  • grass boardcast spreader
  • L square

got a few plymouth emblems for 35 bucks, a 65 or 66 satellite hood emblem, no ci identification so probably a /6 or 318, a 68 - 69 satellite and fury 383 hood emblem, and a small red white and blue one. thought they were cool and i want to draw some on autocad for stencils or stickers or something.

Good day! Got to meet some new people today, gold66cuda, papstxx and 562bigdaddy. Really good guys. Saw a bunch of regulars and always good to say hello beside on the web.

I really like Evan's Gold 66 Cuda. Nice ride!

I don't know how I missed that as I circled the swap continuously from 6:45am till about 9am. That's exactly what I needed for the Dart. :(
