i just got my latest new car...no i didnt sell the wagon still got it too its gonna b fixed soon:cheers:....so i was laid off a yr ago as some may know but the last month i have started my new job a greenmaster at the local golf course i love it working outdoors rules. anyways blabbing on i was searchin for a cheap lil cool ride for the couple weeks the valiants gonna b worked on so ive been checkin craigs like a crackhead and yesterday i told me girlfreind hey come look at this a nice lil cherry red ride so i called and of course it was mopar.we toledem we would meetem and after 20mins of looking me and the gf where amazed by its beuity my 2nd love the valiants my first a cherry red/maroon interior 1977 DoDge Aspen. i love it runs great v8 318 eld carb alum intake/slot mags all around only real upgrades stock interior great shape besides a 4in rip in drivers bucket seat besides that its solid cool lil ride im happy with my wannabe grandma duster.that v8 is quiet tho i like it stock not bad on gas either came witrh a full tank u never get that lol.srry no pics will havem up here tomarrow

Congrats on the new job and car. Good to here things are going better for you. Can't wait to see that Aspen. It sounds like a nice ride.
 
here she is after i just put new fuel filter/air filter/radiator rust resistor and cleanin her up.i relly enjoy this lil car its cool to look at and easy on the pocket with gas and my neighbors like it cause its silent i dont thinks even a stock showroom car is this quiet its kinda scary.thinkin bout throwing a raptor muffler on it. lmk if anyone has a fbody rad forsale cheap this one the fins are goin soon i wd40'ed em tryin to weanem along no problems so far i love her

Welcome back and congrats on getting a job you enjoy. Owning a Mopar is great and owning 2 is even better. That Aspen is a funky younger brother to your Valiant. The interior looks very comfy. Glad to hear you're wagon is getting fixed, hope to see pics of her big come-back soon!!!
 
dang i like urs its sweet i was thinking of trying to find those rear window things this is alot diff then my valiant power steering/power front disc brakes/a safty belt buzzer/its cool i love it gonna try to paint some interior stuff this weekend make it black in there carpet will prolly stay get new black mats this is at all if any my budget build.carpet kits prolly enpensive.

Congrats on the job! I worked on a couple of courses when I was (much) younger. Hard work, but all the people you run into are enjoying themselves and that goes a long way toward making you day enjoyable! I loved it.
Great looking car, try JCWhitney for carpet, $135, I've had good luck with their carpet kits. I also can't say enough good things about Jegs universal fit aluminum radiators. You have to add a seperate trans cooler and may have to use custom (universal) rad hoses, but I did mine for under $200 and my overheating issues are a thing of the past.
 
i think i got a good deal i payed $1000.00 for this babay she came filled up with gas and a new pass side tail nlight and a lower control arm.
 
been working on her a lil bit shined up those ol slot magswith some blue magic/1000 grit sandpaper and 000 steelwool turned out great....i did my usual today and replaced the fuses in the new car and bam all my lights work cept dash gotta fix that but curtisy/trunk/pass foot light/ashtray/glovebox all light up nits great! i love this car . valiants torn apart right now getting the new psc front end rebuild kit on all new! gonna b awesome.. and my dad found me small bolt mags for the valiant to awesome!
 
thats cool your getting the valiant fixed, that sucked when it got hit.
i saw it parked in eureka a while back, it looked pretty seriously damaged, hopefully u get it back on the road soon!

How do you like the handling package they put in the F body ?
My son is building a show and go oval dirt track Valar'E and will be badging it as a Roadrunner if he ever can get's back to it, he has been very busy with the band and recording a new album and his full time job at ENGINES inc. and building another house to make some extra cash but he will make use proud when it's dun

so ive been loving my lil aspen just needs some tuning here and there but shes driving fine daily got the valiant at a guys house where rebuilding the front end bought a great kit from preformancesuspension.com great prices and the guy doing the work is a tech at lithia dodge where gettin her done. lol get this he owns a 69 camero lol thought it was funny
