SS Slant Six Dart

ok so going to install the new romac balancer as the stocker is spinning...

so yanking the front end apart and the stick holding the hood lost traction and hit me in the face, and the hood smacked me in the back of the head...

but anyways looking to deal with rad fit issues and some other things...

You mean .002" interference. .002" clearance and it'd fall off when you took the bolt out. lol Yeah post some pics of your face. Everybody else does when there's carnage involved. Let's see it.

and its not that bad it just hurt like a mother and left a nice mark...
 
ok so i got the rad clearance issue fixed up today... gained about an inch...

also made new brackets to hood it in place...

also sent the rad out to have the inlet bib moved around and some other little things...

and for you SS... my black eye and moon scar LOL

it was 3180 the last time i weighted it but have taken maybe another 40lbs out...

need to scale it and get it to 3200 for a D gas... hoping to make a new record at vegas...

would a spare tire and jack be considered as cheatin the scales to bump your weight up?

could be a man hole cover... just has to be weight...

but the plan it to lighten up from the rear set forward as much as possible and then add it to the rear lol...

might make a wheel stander out of it LOL

lots of work on paper done... should be getting the argon bottle and reg for the welder this month and hopefully the chop saw...

so it will be moving shortly...

30 spline lightened from Cass (doctordiff)

picking up the 489 case with 4.88's in the 1st!!

then a event out at speed world the 4th so it should be a big weekend!

i'll have the 3.91 chunk and picked up a 3.55 chunk for the long trips...
