What does anyone think about whether changing from the zipper strip weather strip to stainless trim type on a 67 barracuda hurt the originality of the car.
 
Well, if you are talking about a 100% original concours restoration, or low-mile show quality survivor, maybe. But in general, most people (that is, other than owners or former owners of 1967 A-bodies) won't know the difference, except that your trim will be clean and shiny instead of dull and wobbly with gaps at the corners. And the people who know the difference will think the stainless looks better anyway, and are probably planning to do it to their car, if they haven't already.

My 'cuda appears completely original other than the wheels, but I'm converting the window trim because I am tired of looking at that funky stuff. In the CA climate, new lockstrip only lasts about 2 years, and it starts shrinking on day one. FWIW, IMHO...
