stall after burn out

could use a little help boys.318 with 600 VS Holley 904 tranny from a dead stop i mash the throttle light the tires real good,don't know what the last guy did to this little motor,all i did was put on a edelbrock rpm intake and the 600 Holley it goes great,but once i let of the throttle it stalls ,starts right up so flooding cant be why it stalls out and pointers.Timeing set at 15 ,total 32

Does it normally smell strong of fuel, like fumes?
Just off the top it sounds rich.

mine does that IF im below 1/4 thank
i figured getting on it after the tires warm up sluches the gas away from the pickup

Try bringing the mixture screws out a bit.

with the price of gas and weight i only keep it 1/4 good thought.
