I am writing in regards to the Standard LX101 ignition box for mopars. I have used this ignition module/box for some time now. I also have the now discontinued mopar performance chrome box. I installed it once before just see if it was any different/better than the standard LX101 and I felt an immediate seat of the pants increase in power from down low to upper ranges of rpm. So is it just my imagination or is there a difference between both boxes output? My set up is a 360 with KB107 pistons, X-heads and the mopar 292 cam with 108°lobes, also have a Victor 340 single plane with a worked thermoquad and 3.91's out back. 727 transmission with a 9.5" FTI 3400-3600 stall converter.

Another observation was that when I run the Standard LX101 box my idle seems to go a little lower after I drive the car for a while. With the Chrome mopar box idle seems to go up more after driving car and seems more peppy compared to the LX101 box.

No clue but I've been running the LX101 for a few years now.
Someone more smarts than me will chime in.
Do you know what is the rpm limit to the lx101? I feel as if it quits sooner than the chrome box but not sure how much sooner.

You're the one who said you "felt an immediate difference" so obviously there is.
