I want to get one, but its gonna have to be used. Cant afford a new one. Not gonna pay for a new one if I did have the money.

What is the difference between a 452 B and a 452 E?

Is there anything I should look for or watch out for when getting one? I will most likely get it online so I wont be able to feel the motion, but after being around so much starret stuff over the years, I can pretty much look at one and tell what condition its in. Usually if they are no good, its quite obvious it got smashed or something.

Reason I dont want to go new is because I cant justify such an expensive tool for the amount of use it will be getting.
